Hey everyone! In this quick After Effects tutorial, Ill show you how to create long shadows with standard effects. First of all, we duplicate our text layer. Swap fill and stroke. Width 4 pixels. We add CC light burst 2.5 to the bottom text layer. Intensity 100. Ray Length around -175. We move the centre point down for now. Then we add Matte choker. Geometric Softness 1: 0 Choke 1: -127 Gray level softness 1: 0 Lets add a Gradient Ramp. Adjust the start and end position. Change the colours. Then lets add a layer style to the bottom layer. Stroke. Colour white. Size 3 pixels. The centre point position determines the direction. The ray length is the shadow length.
