simply cutting and pasting an object on a new background just doesnamp;#39;t look realistic instead first place the object layer over the new background layer make a duplicate by pressing Ctrl or command J make a selection of the object by using any of your favorite techniques now with the object copy layer selected click on the mask button then select the object layer and we will create a shadow out of this by changing the blend mode to multiply but the background is still a little dark create a curves adjustment layer and click on this button to clip it or limit it to the object Shadow layer then adjust the shadow to your style you can also create one more curves and clip it to the object and make adjustments as you please

You can also turn clipping on or off by clicking the triangle itself. To turn clipping on or off ONLY for the shadows, click on the triangle in the top left corner. The image below shows that clipping is on only for the shadows (the blue overlay), while highlight clipping (the red overlay) is turned off.
For removing shadows altogether you will need to mask them out, if you want to reduce their impact and brighten dark areas, go to color workspace and in basic settings see shadows and highlights. Use that to brighten them up.
If you want to get rid of shadows in Lightroom, start by making global adjustments to your image, and using sliders is the easiest way to do it. If there are only subtle shadows in your image, you can go to the Shadows slider in the Basic Panel of the Develop Module and drag it to +100.

Can You Remove Shadows From Photos? Yes, shadows can be removed from photos using photo editing apps like PhotoDirector or Snapseed. These tools offer features such as the healing brush, which allows you to eliminate unwanted shadows and create a more visually appealing image.
Edit 1 To get started, adjust the Shadow Slider up to brighten shadow areas. Then, bring down the Highlights to balance it with Shadows. Next, adjust the Exposure to brighten the photos a bit more. Since the shadows were brightened, adjust the Contrast, Blacks, and Clarity to boost the details and decrease the shadows.
