Turn the display of formatting marks on or off Go to File Options Display. Under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the check box for each formatting mark that you always want to display regardless if the Show/Hide. button is turned on or off.
Then click on the Find Next button. Note: For each Code/instance found, please make sure the text and the Code are completely removed by clicking and dragging the Code box out of the Reveal Codes window, or simply delete the text and Code using the Delete or Backspace keys.
It is essentially impossible to have stray or unused formatting codes in your text, as you can in WordPerfect. The reason is because there are no such codes. The closest you can get to the reveal codes is to display the complete formatting information that Word is applying to a character or paragraph.
Removing Redlining and/or Strikeout Marks If you want to remove redline markings from a generated redlined draft or from a document to which you have manually applied redlining and/or strikeout, you can do so by clicking File, Document, Remove Markings.
Click Customize. In the Customize settings dialog box, click the Toolbars tab. In the Available toolbars list, enable the check box beside a toolbar name. A check mark next to the toolbar indicates that it is displayed.
Turning on Reveal Codes There are several ways to turn on Reveal Codes, so pick your favorite and stick with it: press Alt+F3; click View, Reveal Codes; or click and drag the Reveal Codes bar up into the document. Note that the Reveal Codes bar is found at the bottom of the vertical scroll bar.
Click File Options Display, and then under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the Hidden text check box.
Yes, you can use document review functionality in WordPerfect to track changes in your documents. Using WordPerfect, you can send a document to a reviewer, or multiple reviewers, to add comments or make revisions to the document.
