Your task is to fill up the weekdays till the end of the year. You might be tempted to do this, but this is going to give you the weekends as well, so you have to go and figure out where the weekends are, remove these, push these up, and repeat. No, no, no. Donamp;#39;t do that. What youamp;#39;re going to do instead is this: Ctrl + Shift + Semicolon to get todayamp;#39;s date. Go to Home amp;gt; Fill amp;gt; Series. Select Columns, Date is fine. Select Weekday, step value is fine, stop value is the 1st of January 2023. Check this out, I get all weekdays, excluding the weekend. So if I bring up the calendar here, youamp;#39;re going to see weekends are automatically excluded, we get the entire series until the end of the year.

Excel Redo shortcut To redo an action with a keyboard shortcut, press the Ctrl + Y keys simultaneously on your keyboard. In Excel for Mac, the shortcut for redo is Command + Y. On most keyboards, you can also use the F4 key for redo. If it doesnt work for you, try pressing F-Lock or Fn, and then the F4 key.
When you use the F4 key, it repeats the action that you performed recently, which, in this case, is filling a cell with a color. As long as you dont do any other actions, you can continue to use the F4 key to fill in color in multiple cells or ranges.
Transfer formatting settings in Excel Microsoft has a solution for this as well: by pressing the F4 key, you can apply the last formatting setting you made to the current selection.
Go to the list you want to format. On the right side above the list select the Switch view options down arrow and select Format current view. Under Choose layout, select List.
To make your workflow even more efficient, you can use a shortcut key to repeat the recent action in Excel: Ctrl + Y or F4 for Windows. Command + Y for Mac.
