hi everyone devon knight from pragmatic works here and in todayamp;#39;s video weamp;#39;re going to be looking at a special feature with inside of power automate to show how we can populate a word template and so my goal here is i want to be able to automate the populating of say something like a certificate of completion so what i have on my screen right here is actually a legitimate certificate of completion that you might receive if you were to attend a pragmatic works class and what iamp;#39;d like to do is i want to automate it so that whenever someone requests a certificate of completion that i can just simply have them fill out a form it populates in information like their name their class they attended the date that they attended it and all that information will automatically be populated into team i shouldnamp;#39;t say in the teams but into a pdf that is then later emailed to them so how do we get started with something like this if we want to make a template out

The recipient list will appear grayed out in the message until the list has finished refreshing at which point you will be able to change the list. You must wait for the list to complete refreshing before youre able to send the message.
Edit Recipients dialog box The list of recipients Shows all the records that will be used in your mail merge. Data Source Select Edit to change individual fields, or add records. Sort Select up to three level of fields to sort in ascending or descending order.
To add a numeric switch, perform these steps: Select the merge field whose format you want to change. Press Shift + F9 to display the coding of the selected field or Alt + F9 to expose the codes of all the fields in your document. Add a numeric switch code to the end of the field.
To redo the most recent action that you undid, press CTRL+Y. To redo several actions, do one of the following: Press CTRL+Y repeatedly until the actions are redone. On the Quick Access Toolbar, click the arrow next to Redo , and then click the actions that you want to redo.
To edit an existing mail merge document: Select Letters Mail Merge Document Maintenance. The Mail Merge Document Search window is displayed. Type search criteria in the search fields and click Find. Select the document you want to edit. Click Edit. Click Edit. Select File Exit. Click Ok.
If you have any other version of Word (Word 2010 or later), then we can always do it the long way. Display the Word Options dialog box. Click on File tab of the ribbon and then click Options. Click Advanced at the left side of the screen. In the File Types list, choose User Templates. Click the Modify button.
