Hi everyone, Nick here. Today Iamp;#39;m going to show you a really cool trick for presenting quotes on your slide. So if you do research evaluation, you might have a lot of qualitative data in the form of quotes and maybe you have coded them into themes. Maybe theyamp;#39;re from something like an an interview or a survey or something like that. In this case, we have some presentation of quotes here from zoo visitors, and maybe this was an interview that we used. When we asked them if there were any memorable experiences from their visit and then from all of those quotes, we coded them into themes and this is how Iamp;#39;m going to present them on the slide. There is such a better way to present these on a slide, but I think weamp;#39;ve all done this classic bullet points. The quote is right there. We present the theme. How to Create a Looping Slideshow in PowerPoint Open your PowerPoint presentation. Click the [Slide Show] tab From the Set Up group, click Set Up Slide Show. From the resulting dialogue box, check Loop continuously until Esc under the Show options section Click [OK].
Press Ctrl+H to open the Find And Replace window. Using Shift+2, type the quotation mark into both the Find What and Replace With boxes. Finally, click Replace All. You will see that this changes your curly quotes to straight quotes.
At the top left corner of the PowerPoint window, youll see the Undo and Redo buttons in the Quick Access Toolbar. The Undo button typically has a left-pointing arrow, while the Redo button has a right-pointing arrow.
To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4. (If F4 doesnt seem to work, you may need to press the F-Lock key or Fn Key, then F4) on your keyboard, or select Redo on the Quick Access toolbar.
Adding Quotation Marks On the top left of the slide, drag out a text box like the one shown below. Type a double quotation mark (). Click on the bounding box so we can style it to our liking. Make the font size 200.
Select the AutoFormat As You Type tab, and under Replace as you type, select or clear the Straight quotes with smart quotes check box.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
