What were gonna show you today is how to gather data from multiple users and bring it into your Google Sheet. These users wont even have to see your sheet. They wont have to interact with it. Theyre going to get a Google Form sent to them and you can style this however you want and make it nice and easy for them. The point is to get these fields from people. Were going to distribute it in different ways. Before you create the spreadsheet, youre going to start in Google Drive. Youre going to right-click on any empty space in the desktop, or you could start from the new button, you go down to more because its not one of these three main programs. Go to more, left click on Google Forms. Thats how I created this file that you see right here. I called that data gathering. Lets go to that. Delete all responses from a form Open a form in Google Forms. In the top left under Responses, click Summary. In the top right, click More Delete all responses . Click OK.
Click the attached Google Form. Click Edit your response. Scroll down and fix your answers. When youre done, scroll down and click Submit.
- You can also edit your responses on the form submission confirmation page. On the confirmation page, click the Edit your response link.
After people submit their answers, a confirmation page appears. They can click a link to reopen the form and change their answers.
If you make changes to your form, it will not affect the form link used to collect responses. The link will remain the same. If you make changes to existing questions and answer choices in google forms, it might affect the submitted responses already recorded in google forms.
Form owners or collaborators can enable the edit after submit option in Google Forms to allow form respondents to edit the response they have submitted.
Open the Google Form you need. Click on the Settings in the upper portion of the document. When the new window pops up, select Responses and toggle Allow response editing to on. Click on the little eye icon to enter the information you want and click Submit.
To make edits, open your form in Google Forms and select an existing question or answer choice to edit or add a new question, section, image, video more. Whenever you make the edits, the changes will be saved instantly and it will reflected in the form whenever the user opens the form.
