hey yo im tim from bracken and today were gonna have a bit of fun in photoshop well learn how to make these cool printed type effects on type and graphics and were gonna start off by looking at some great reference material from allen kitchen um and then well create the physical distortions in photoshop then well create our own print texture using filters and effects within photoshop so no external assets required um but then we will also use it with some of brackens printed assets because you you get a more realistic result and well chat about why that is uh when we come to it but yep this is the stuff were making and without further ado lets get rip roaring so here we are in photoshop and what we have here is just a scan of the sleeve of a book by alan kitchen who i mentioned in the intro and ill put some shots here now of the book itself its a great book called allen kitchens a to z of letterpress and its basically just a load of uh wooden and metal fonts that hes put
