To comment several lines at once in TeXMaker, select the lines and click Ctrl + T . To uncomment, click Ctrl + U .
The \pagebreak command tells LaTeX to break the current page at the point of the command. With the optional argument, number , you can convert the \pagebreak command from a demand to a request. The number must be a number from 0 to 4.
You will need to use \columnbreak manually (also be careful to the empty lines or not, before and after it) but this works how it is meant to be. Outside the multicols environment(s), your body of text is on one column as set by default in the documentclass .
The \` command moves all the text that follows it, up to the \\ or \end{tabbing} command that ends the line, to the right margin of the tabbing environment. There must be no \ or \ command between the \` and the command that ends the line.
To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4. (If F4 doesnt seem to work, you may need to press the F-Lock key or Fn Key, then F4) on your keyboard, or select Redo on the Quick Access toolbar.
You can use Edit - Go to - Go Back / Go Forward (Alt+Left/Right). In the standard configuration this is also available via the yellow arrows in the central vertical toolbar. Also, if your mouse or keyboard have special keys for this operation, they should work. Not the exact answer, but..
