Restart your Mac. Choose Apple menu Shut Down, press and hold the power button until Loading startup options appears, select Options, click Continue, then follow the onscreen instructions. In the Recovery app window, select Reinstall for your macOS release, click Continue, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Simply press Command and Z at the same time to undo any recent changes. This works in most other Mac applications as well. If you need to undo further changes, you can press Command + Z multiple times.
One way is to open your note in the Notes app, click the Edit menu in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, and choose Undo or Redo, depending on what you want to do. Another way is to use a keyboard shortcut. To undo, press Command + Z , and to redo, press Shift + Command + Z .
In many applications - including docHub and Microsoft - pressing Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z in MacOS) undoes the last operation/action you performed. Conversely, you can redo the last operation/action performed by pressing Ctrl+Y (Cmd+Y in MacOS).
Pro Tip: You can also use keyboard shortcuts to undo and redo changes in Premiere Pro. The shortcut for undo is Ctrl+Z on Windows and Command+Z on a Mac. The shortcut for redo is Shift+Ctrl+Z on Windows and Shift+Command+Z on a Mac. These shortcuts can save you a lot of time and improve your editing workflow.
Set the date and time automatically on your Mac On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Date Time on the right. Turn on Set time and date automatically, click Set, then enter a network time server for your region.
Control-Y Control-Y is a common computer command. It is generated by holding Ctrl and pressing the Y key on most computer keyboards. In most Windows applications this keyboard shortcut functions as Redo, reversing a previous Undo. Apple Macintosh systems use ⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift + Z for Redo.
Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
