Ctrl+O. Create a new document. Ctrl+N. Save the document. Ctrl+S.
One way to implement a basic undo/redo feature is to use both the memento and command design patterns. Memento aims at keeping the state of an object to be restored later for example. This memento should be as small as possible in an optimisation purpose.
Ctrl + A Select all content. Ctrl + Z Undo an action. Ctrl + Y Redo an action. Ctrl + D Delete the selected item and move it to the Recycle Bin.
If you click on the Undo command again, the software will undo the next most recent thing you didand so on. Clicking on the Redo command (or pressing Ctrl+Y) will reverse what you just did with the Undo command.
To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4.
The undo button in Excel reverts your worksheet to the state it was in just before you performed the most recent action. Redo has the opposite effect, redoing what youve just undone, such as if you accidentally delete something.
Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
By default, Redo is now linked to CTRL+Y .
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y. The Undo and Redo features let you remove or repeat single or multiple typing actions, but all actions must be undone or redone in the order you did or undid them you cant skip actions.
The Memento Pattern Before an action is applied, you take a snapshot of the current state and save it into an array. That snapshot is the Memento. If the user wants to undo, you simply pop the last memento and apply it. The program returns to the state it was before the last action was applied.
