hello and welcome back if you follow the channel you know that we recently battled with an early 8-inch floppy diskette drive but eventually managed to connect it to a PC in the process our buddy Antoine developed an adapter for it available for all on Tindy we discovered they were no less than 11 major differences between five and a quarter floppies and eight inch floppies but curiously signaling wasnt one of them so our PC was able to read them after we figured out all the details we could even boot from our 8-inch floppy drive and play a Dos game we showed four different types of 8-inch floppies the single-sided the double-sided the single density and the double density in all combinations but commanders quickly pointed out that I had omitted the hard sector 8-inch floppy ah yes right the hard sector floppies I dont have any this is even more ancient But Eric is about to straighten us out and have you ever heard of an IBM Demi this cat I havent either so stay tuned for Erics sto

Can a 100 bring down your grade?

Even if you get a perfect 100% grade on the final exam, you would only earn a B. More realistically, you wouldnt be able to get out of C range, unless theres a lot of extra credit you can take advantage of.

How much will a 50 affect my grade if I have a 98?

It counts as 25% percent of my grade (it was only 4 questions so I got a 2/4). If the 50% counts as 25% of your grade, then the 98% would (unless there are other factors not mentioned to consider) equal 75% of your grade.

Do universities care if you redo a course?

Colleges are perfectly indifferent to students either repeating a year or taking a gap year to enter a PG program prior to applying.

How do I get my teacher to change my mark?

Heres my advice: Be strategic. Always be honest and fair when you approach teachers with questions and commentary about your grades. Go the extra mile. Let your teacher know that youre serious about their class and its associated coursework. Ask for help. Be present. Play up your strengths.

Why does my grade go down when I get a good score?

Grades are weighted by category. So if the score on the assignment is lower than the average for that category, the overall grade will go down. Example: A students current overall grade is 90% for all categories (tests, homework, etc.)

Why was my grade dropped?

If your grade says Dropped, the instructor: Dropped the highest and/or lowest grade item in this category. Dropped this assignment so it does not count toward the final grade.

What marking period is the most important?

In reality, the fourth marking period is one of the most important aspects of your school year. It entails finals, wrapping up each class, and graduation for some.

Why did my grade go down if I got 100?

The reason your average score drops in this situation is you were probably above 100%. Therefore, averaging in some 100% grades will drag your average down, because those grades are lower than your current average. Every time you get a score above your current average, your average will go up.

Is a 70 out of 100 a bad grade?

C is anywhere between 70% and 79% D - this is still a passing grade, and its between 59% and 69% F - this is a failing grade.

How much will a 50 affect my grade if I have a 90?

A 50 will certainly pull down your grade of 90 and it will be very difficult to bring it back up again, but it can be done in some cases.
