To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4. (If F4 doesnt seem to work, you may need to press the F-Lock key or Fn Key, then F4). If you prefer to use the mouse, click Redo on the Quick Access toolbar. (The Redo button only appears after youve undone an action.)
Use the Fill Down command to copy the contents and format of the topmost cell of a selected range into the cells below. Ctrl+D. Apply the General number format.
To reverse your last action, press CTRL+Z. You can reverse more than one action. To reverse your last Undo, press CTRL+Y.
If you want to center your cell contents horizontally, just press Ctrl+E. If you want to center your cell contents vertically, just press Ctrl+E. Its that easy. So the next time youre working in Excel and you need to center your cell contents, save yourself some time and use the Ctrl+E shortcut.
