To remove a legend in ggplot2, you can set the `show. legend` argument to `FALSE` in the specific geom function or globally in the `theme()` function by using `theme(legend. position = none)`. This way, no legend will be included in your plot.
Select your chart and on the Chart Design tab, choose Select Data. Choose on the legend name you want to change in the Select Data Source dialog box, and select Edit. Note: You can update Legend Entries and Axis Label names from this view, and multiple Edit options might be available.
Change legend title with labs() The labs() function allows to change the legend titles. You can specify one title per section of the legend, i.e. per aesthetics in use in the chart.
To display the title at any other position of the plot use theme() function. Within theme() function use plot. title parameter with elementtext() function as value to it. Again within this function pass the value for hjust attribute.
The default is for the legend names to refer to the variable or formula which is mapped to that aesthetic. You can change this either using the lab() function or the name parameter inside the scale* function which controls that aesthetic.
Its also possible to use the functions ggtitle() , xlab() and ylab() to modify the plot title, subtitle, x and y axis labels.
