The keyboard shortcut for undo, which enables the users to undo the recent action they took, is Ctrl Shift Z. Conversely, the keyboard shortcut for redo, Ctrl Y, enables the users to implement the most recent action they took again after undoing it with Ctrl Shift Z option.
To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y. The Undo and Redo features let you remove or repeat single or multiple typing actions, but all actions must be undone or redone in the order you did or undid them you cant skip actions.
Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
Excel Redo shortcut To redo an action with a keyboard shortcut, press the Ctrl + Y keys simultaneously on your keyboard. In Excel for Mac, the shortcut for redo is Command + Y. On most keyboards, you can also use the F4 key for redo.
Instead, the Macintosh equivalent of the Windows Ctrl key is the ⌘ key. Its right next to the space bar. Its pronounced command, although novices can often be heard calling it the pretzel key, Apple key, or clover key. Most Windows Ctrl-key combos correspond perfectly to ⌘-key sequences on the Mac.
Control-Y Control-Y is a common computer command. It is generated by holding Ctrl and pressing the Y key on most computer keyboards. In most Windows applications this keyboard shortcut functions as Redo, reversing a previous Undo. Apple Macintosh systems use ⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift + Z for Redo.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
