Hi everyone. My name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can use mail merge to create address labels. So, what do I mean by that? Well, imagine that you have a list of addresses. So maybe in Excel or in Outlook, you have a list of maybe 30, 50, 60, maybe even hundreds of addresses and you want to print each one of those addresses onto an address label. Well, one way to do that is you could create a new address label sheet in Microsoft Word, and you could go through, and you could copy and paste each address into one of the labels and then you could print it out. But that sounds really painful and thats also going to take a long time. Today Im going to show you how you can use mail merge in Word to greatly simplify that task. Select Create/Edit Custom Labels on the Tools tab or click the Select Custom Label button in the Profile Editor window. The Custom Label Editor window appears. If you want to edit an existing template: Note: You cannot edit a UPS Sample template.
Select the shipment in Shipping History for which you would like to reprint the label. Select the Show Detail/Receipt button. Select the Use My UPS Thermal Printer to Print Labels checkbox if you have a thermal printer installed and wish to reprint your label using your thermal printer.
We Can Email the Return Label Directly to Your Customer If you select UPS Electronic Return Label, well email your customer a return shipping label and a mobile barcode. They can then print the label at home, attach it to their boxed item and send it back.
Void shipping labels individually After you void a shipping label, the cost of the label is credited to your account. This amount is applied to the cost of any shipping labels that you buy in the future. If the package has been shipped, then contact the carrier with the package reference number for help.
Label alterations Your online label cannot be altered and must be used as it was printed. If you find an error in your label, print a new label with the correct address and request a refund. Any item with a manually-altered online label will be returned to you.
You can reprint labels from within the order details. If you click into the order details you can select the label in the top right hand corner. Youll see a Print button with a drop down menu including Label as an option. This would be for reprinting existing labels.
To reprint a shipping label youve just printed: On the Carrier screen you will see the message Label Completed . Click the Reprint This Label link next to the Label Completed message. Youll see a Reprint Label dialog box with some conditions. If you agree to them, check the check box. Click the Reprint button.
If you do not have a pouch, affix the folded label using clear plastic shipping tape over the entire label area. Be careful not to obscure or damage the bar codes or addresses. You can also print labels on label stock and affix them to your package.
