undo and redo are two complimentary commands that can be quite helpful when working in AutoCAD letamp;#39;s quickly create some objects Iamp;#39;ll use the line tool to create a line segment Iamp;#39;ll end the command and then start it again and this time Iamp;#39;ll create several line segments and then rightclick and choose the close option to create a closing segment in the command then Iamp;#39;ll use the rectangle command to draw a rectangle and finally Iamp;#39;ll use the line command to create one more line segment the important thing to note here is the order in which I used the commands 1 2 3 and four now if I come up here to my quick access toolbar and click once on the undo tool AutoCAD will undo the last thing I did in this case it undoes the last line segment I created if I click on undo again it will undo the next most recent thing I did in this case it removes the rectangle if I click undo again it will not undo the individual line segment M but rather all of the

To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4. (If F4 doesnt seem to work, you may need to press the F-Lock key or Fn Key, then F4) on your keyboard, or select Redo on the Quick Access toolbar.
To make text bold using Ctrl B, you can select the text you want to format and then press the Ctrl key and the letter B simultaneously. This keyboard shortcut will apply bold formatting to the selected text.
In most applications, you can only use Ctrl Y to redo the last action that you undid using Ctrl Z. If you want to redo multiple actions, you will need to use Ctrl Y multiple times.
When using a word processor like Microsoft Word, Ctrl+E is a shortcut for aligning text to the center of a line or paragraph. By placing the cursor within the desired text and pressing Ctrl+E, you can quickly apply center alignment, giving your document a visually balanced appearance.
