if the HDMI port on your MacBook Pro stopped working which it seems to happen to me a lot I found a solution up in the left corner click system preferences go to displays and hold down the alt/option key thatll pull up a button on the bottom right that will force detect any displays that you have connected your laptop just simply click it so long as your HDMI cable is good and your TV or display worked before and theres no hardware issues it this should solve the problem if it doesnt double check to make sure the HDMI cable is good and if the TV you know is good it may be a bug in the software and your operating system or worst case scenario might be the HDMI port is has an issue and I hope its not that latter one but either of those last two going I recommend going to the Apple store and have it resolved but hopefully they solved your issue and thanks for watching take care
