[Music] hi Im Roy Williams senior consultant with Red Hat today Im joined by my colleague Chris Malthus were gonna be discussing integration options with Active Directory all right so both you and I have been involved in some engagements in with Active Directory and Red Hat Identity Manager integration also called IDM one of the main reasons that were going to use this is to leverage users and groups from a B what are some of the challenges or questions that youve got from some clients a lot of the clients Ive worked with are concerned about where their users live theyre also concerned about what a trust is and what it takes to set this trust up yeah so typically we have a few options theres direct integration synchronization and indirect integration all these options allow your IDM admins to focus more on the other features of IDM and not just user and group management exactly right Chris so the first option we have that a lot of our smaller customers like is this direct integ
