hey guys hey you gone my name is DOM and today I want to talk about the CSS pseudo element selection so selection allows you to change the appearance of text on your web page when its highlighted or selected by the user so lets see with an example Ive got this HTML page right up here with some text in it now Im gonna make it so when you hover over this text it changes the background color of the selection and also the actual fonts of color so to do so inside the HTML in the CSS we can actually type this up we can say to Collins and then selection and thatll be the selection so the selection pseudo-element okay inside here now we can specify the background color and also the color of the test so lets say that the background color will be red okay and for the actual text color we can say color I then make that white okay if Ill still now save this and refresh the browser and then hard this text we now get red background and white color okay now this is actually not supported by Fi
