all right i am adding new wall panels to an aluminum frame rv and i wanted to share a few tips that i learned along the way because we had some trouble getting these set up but finally figured it out so um so basically within an aluminum frame rv youre gonna have some wood pieces and youre gonna have all your vertical studs be aluminum um what we found when we started screwing into these uh aluminum pieces is that some of them whenever theres just a single piece of aluminum its really thin and so whenever you have like we used tex wood to metal screws it just wouldnt the screws wouldnt bite like the threads wouldnt bite into that and you couldnt suck the panel in and just go right through it but whenever you have these spots that were doubled up it was thick enough for those screws to work really well and it would really suck the panel in and then obviously with the wood parts you can screw the panel in using normal wood screws so you kind of have three different scenarios and
