To redo an edit that youve undone, click Redo (right arrow to the left of the Save drop-down) or use either Ctrl-Y / Ctrl-Shift-Z on PC or ⌘Y / ⌘Shift-Z on Mac. You can undo and redo changes only between saves. If you want to recover to an older saved version you can use version history instead.
To undo an action, simply click on the backward arrow icon. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Ctrl + Z (Command + Z on Mac).
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y. The Undo and Redo features let you remove or repeat single or multiple typing actions, but all actions must be undone or redone in the order you did or undid them you cant skip actions.
There are three ways to access the Redo command. Pressing the Redo button in the Ribbon: Using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Y ( Command+Y for Mac) Using the Edit menu from the menu bar.
Redo is the opposite of undo: it redoes an action you have undone. For example, if you decide that you do, after all, want to delete an item that you have just brought back with undo, you can redo the action. Click the Redo button on the toolbar to redo the last action.
Now in addition to using CTRL+Z (or ⌘Z) to reverse a build, deconstruct, or upgrade order, you can now use CTRL+Y (or ⌘⇧Z) to re-issue a previously undone order. You can also use the new redo shortcut in the shortcut bar. It works exactly like youd expect.
