hello since i released my videos about updating and working with excel tables from power automate i got this question quite a few times on how can we work with the csv files so basically if you have csv file how we can add records how we can update the content inside it and questions like that i believe updating a csv file is not the main question the main question is that if you read the content of the csv file can we convert it to a json array so that we can process it and we can work with this content so if we can solve that problem probably there is nothing else to talk about although iamp;#39;m thinking that maybe i can release another video to show you exactly how to read the csv how to make changes and how to update it or basically push the changes back to the csv file but in this video we want to look into the different options that you have that you can get the content from a csv file and convert it into a json array so that you can work with it letamp;#39;s get into

Since a CSV file is a text file separated by commas, you can use any simple text editor to do a search-and-replace to replace the comas with semicolons. The only problem is programs usually cant read semicolon-seperated-values, generally the other most common separator is a return or line-feed character.
In Excel, navigate to Data Import External Data Import Data/Import From Text and choose 65001 Unicode (UTF-8). Save your settings then re-open your file to confirm that special characters are displayed correctly.
You can access it from the Edit Find Replace menu or by pressing Ctrl-F on the keyboard. You will then see the following dialog: Enter the phrase or word you are looking for and the corresponding one to replace it with if any.
How to Remove Line Breaks in an Excel/CSV File? Open the Find/Replace command window (press Ctrl+H). In the Find what box, place your cursor. Press and hold the Alt key and then enter 010 from your keyboards 10-keypad part. In the Replace with box, put your cursor. Then, click Replace All.

Then right-click on the csv file to open it in Notepad, click on Edit, Replace, put a comma in Find what and whatever you want to replace the commas with in Replace with. Now click on Replace All and save the file or save as.
You can access it from the Edit Find Replace menu or by pressing Ctrl-F on the keyboard. You will then see the following dialog: Enter the phrase or word you are looking for and the corresponding one to replace it with if any. Clicking Find will search for the first occurance of your criteria.
