How long is a checkride endorsement good for?

The endorsement must be specific to the make and model of aircraft to be flown. The endorsement is valid for 90 days. The student pilot cannot land at another airport until an additional endorsement is obtained.

How long are FAA endorsements good for?

Endorsements are valid for 15 days. If you are not able to take the knowledge test within 15 days, you may request another endorsement. An FAA Tracking Number (FTN) is required to obtain an endorsement and schedule the knowledge test.

How long are checkride endorsements valid?

So while the endorsement does not expire per-se, you are required to have training within 2 months of the application. If you got the endorsement and applied for the practical test within 2 months, then you are OK.

How long are you required to keep your FAA records of endorsements for solo and exams?

Records of endorsements must be maintained for at least 3 years. 14 CFR part 61, section 61.39(a)(1) requires that the applicant pass a knowledge test.
