The fastest way to undo or redo a previous action is by using a keyboard shortcut. Undo. Press Ctrl+Z on Windows or Command+Z on Mac. Redo. Press Shift+Ctrl+Z on Windows or Shift+Command+Z on Mac.
The Undo/Redo shortcuts are useful for quickly viewing the before and after effects of your work. To undo a completed action, press Command + Z. Use Command + Shift + Z to redo an action.

To undo or redo the most recent change, choose Edit Undo. (You can sequentially undo a series of recent changes.) To undo a change, and all successive changes that occurred since you last opened a project, delete it from the History panel.
To undo the most recent change, choose Edit Undo [action]. (You cannot undo certain actions, such as scrolling.) To redo an action, choose Edit Redo [action].
