as you create your documents it is inevitable that you will run into times when you need to undo something you previously did letamp;#39;s take a look at how you can undo actions and if necessary redo them [Applause] when you take an action in word you can undo that action there are two ways that you can do this a lot of people use the undo button visible at the top of the program window when iamp;#39;m working with word though i think the easiest way to undo an action is to press ctrl z on the keyboard for instance letamp;#39;s say that you think that you should add some text right in here if right after typing it you think better of your edition you can press ctrl z and word undoes what you just did all you have to do is hold down the control key and at the same time press the z key and it undoes your action the great thing is that this can work for other actions besides typing as well letamp;#39;s say that you want to make these words bold but then you want to un

To undo or redo the most recent change, choose Edit Undo. (You can sequentially undo a series of recent changes.) To undo a change, and all successive changes that occurred since you last opened a project, delete it from the History panel.
To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4.
You can reverse the action of the Undo command by using the Redo command. After you have used the Undo command, from the Edit menu, select Redo or press Control+Y.
The undo key is Ctrl+Z and its function is to reverse anything which is last done by you. So any changes made in the last time will get erased. In case of the redo key, the function is to do any cation n number of times. The key for this is Ctrl+Y. Using these shortcuts you can perform any of these functions.
Go to the top menu, click Edit. Then, scroll down and click on the redo button.
To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4. (If F4 doesnt seem to work, you may need to press the F-Lock key or Fn Key, then F4) on your keyboard, or select Redo on the Quick Access toolbar. (The Redo button only appears after youve undone an action.)
Go to the Edit menu. Undo or redo it: Pelect Undo to go back one step or Redo to go forward one step.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
