How do you prove when a document was last edited?

Right-click the file and select Properties. In the Properties window, the Created date, Modified date, and Accessed date is displayed, similar to the example below.

How can I tell when a Word document was last edited?

Review changes inline On the Review Tab, select Markup Options. Point to Balloons and select Show All Revisions Inline.

Can you change the date on a Word document?

To edit the date, click the gray box, type a new date, and then click outside the box. To change the date back to the current date, click the date field and click Update.
