To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4.
To use the Quick Selection tool, simply click on it in the toolbar and then click and drag over the area of the image that contains the text you want to select. The Quick Selection tool will automatically select all of the similar pixels in the area you dragged over.
The easiest way to move a text layer in Photoshop is to first select the desired text layer in the Layers Panel. Then activate the Move Tool by pressing V and click and drag your text to a new position on your canvas.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
Once the appropriate Text tool is chosen, highlight the text you want to change by placing the cursor then clicking and dragging over the text. The selected text is highlighted, and you can type the new text. The selected text is deleted and the new text appears as you type.
One way is to use the Text Tool located in the toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen. With this tool selected, click on the area of the image from which you want to extract text. This will create a text box which you can then type your text into.
Restart your PS and see if that does the trick. Have you saved and restarted Photoshop? If that didnt resolve, go to your preferences and click the Reset Preferences upon Restart button in the General Section. Restart your PS and see if that does the trick.
Selecting Text Double clicking on the T icon on Layers panel will select all of the type on the layer (and auto-select the Type tool). Double -click with the text to select a word (click three times to select a line, four times to select the paragraph (when using Area type) and five times to select all of the text.
