Hey this is Ralph in this video I want to show you how easy it is to insert charts into Microsoft Word. Not long ago I had to create a large document that had over a dozen different charts, and it was pretty easy to do in Word and it was also easy to make them look good. So basically in my Word document, Im going to head right over to the insert ribbon and Im going to choose chart. Now I think for this example Ill just do a default column, clustered column chart, works pretty much the same for all the others, and click okay. Now when you do this, Word is going to give you this little baby like Excel spreadsheet to work with, and for quick charts, thats probably not a bad way to go. However, what I like to do since I like Excel, I click this little button right here to edit the data in Microsoft Excel. Thats going to open up an, a true Excel client interface which is much more practical. So for some of my charts, I already had them created on a spreads

In versions of Word with the ribbon, its easy to manually update a chart by following these steps: Select the chart in the Word document. Click the Design tab (Chart Tools Design) and click Refresh Data (or click Data, then Refresh Data.)
On the Format tab, in the Current Selection group, click Format Selection. In the Axis Options category, under Axis Options, select the Series in reverse order check box.
Modifying Charts To add any labels (for example, the title or axes), under the Design ribbon, click Add Chart Element in the Chart Layouts group and select the desired label. To change the chart type, data, or location, use the Chart Tools Design ribbon.

On your Android phone or tablet, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Double-tap the chart you want to edit. Tap Edit chart. Choose from: Type: Change the chart type. Legend: Change the legend location. Titles: Change the chart and axis titles. When youre done, tap Done .
A chart is automatically updated once data is edited. The table can be opened as a regular table or as an Excel table allowing access to the tools in Excel. Another way to edit the data is by selecting the chart, right click with a mouse, and select Edit Data in the menu.
Right-click your chart, and then choose Select Data. In the Legend Entries (Series) box, click the series you want to change. Click Edit, make your changes, and click OK. Changes you make may break links to the source data on the worksheet.
Select the chart., and then click the tab. Select Chart Design Add Chart Element Data Table. Select the options. Depending on the chart type, some options may not be available.
To edit the data, right-click the chart and click Edit Data to reopen the spreadsheet. Changes in the spreadsheet show up automatically in the chart. Or, under Design, click Data Edit Data.
Refresh the Excel chart This can be done in two ways: Click on the Refresh button under the ANALYZE tab and select Refresh All. Click on the Refresh All button under the DATA tab.
