A new update to Google Authenticator now allows you to save a backup of all your codes to your Google account. That way, if your phone is lost, stolen or if you migrate to a new device, its much easier to get access to your 2FA codes. To do this, youll need to update the Google Authenticator app - youll know whether youve done this if the icon now looks like this, and then connect to your Google account. When you see a green check in the upper-right corner, you know youve set it up correctly.
