This video demonstrates the three methods of authentication for Duo. The 1st method will be the Call method. Navigate to auburn.edu/2factor. Choose amp;quot;Call Meamp;quot; for the authentication method. Your phone will receive an incoming call from 334-844-4944 on your designated authentication device. Answer this call and press 7 to login. You will be prompted to press 9 if you did not initiate this call. The 2nd method is the Text method. Click amp;quot;Enter a Passcodeamp;quot; then click amp;quot;Text me a new codeamp;quot;. This will send a text message and a passcode to your designated device. When you receive the code, enter the code into the field and click amp;quot;loginamp;quot;. The 3rd and final method demonstrated in this video is Duo Push Method. This is the preferred method. Lost Codes Websites usually give a recovery code to you when you enable 2FA on your account. Use your recovery code to get access to your account. If you dont have a recovery code go to the sites support and ask them to disable two factor authentication on your account for you.
If youre already using two-factor authentication with your Apple ID, you cant turn it off. If you updated to two-factor authentication inadvertently, you can turn it off within two weeks of enrollment. If you do, your account is less secure and you cant use features that require a higher level of security.

As long as youve updated Google Authenticator and its connected to your Google account, you can restore Authenticator from the cloud. If you arent backing up Authenticator, you can manually transfer your accounts to a new device or restore using your QR code.
