To redact an image in Digital Real, start by selecting the image you want to edit and left-click to access image view. Click the hamburger icon, select "Draw Redaction," then choose the area to redact by left-clicking, holding, and dragging to create a red box over the desired section. Release to confirm the redaction, which will cover the selected area. As an admin, you can see the redacted area and remove the redaction if needed; however, general users will only see a blacked-out area and cannot access the hidden information. Exiting the image view will show the redacted portion in film view, confirming the change.

How do I redact a signed PDF? First, open the document you wish to redact. Selecting this option will reveal the redaction menu at the top of your document. Now you simply need to select the text that you want to redact. Click Apply to redact.
How to Edit a Signed PDF Open your PDF in PDF Pro. Press the Print button or [ctrl + p] from your keyboard. Select PDF Pro Virtual Printer from the dropdown (if not default). Press Ok. Name your PDF, then press Save. Make your edits (access editing tools from the Edit tab or the Edit section of the Home tab.
Removing signatures from PDF documents are only possible when you are the person who created the file. It is impossible to remove the signature of a PDF file created by another.
Choose the Blackout button in the Tools tab. You can drag the cursor to redact any text or image in your document. After redacting the content, you can click the Text button in the Edit tab and add text in your PDF. When youre done with editing, click the Done button and email, print or save your document.
The document redaction process only requires 3 simple steps. Document is scanned and converted to digital format with OCR. PII in searchable digital files is identified for redaction. Sensitive information is removed and the redacted file is stored.
It is possible, to require that documents are automatically deleted from the cloud after completion of the envelope. The signing certificate remains but can be redacted of all personal data. This will not affect the copies received by email.
Understanding Redacted In addition to personal data identifiers, other information that should be redacted include medical records, trade secrets, informant names, and security information.
If the Mark for Redaction selection is grayed out, then the document has been locked. You will need to open the document for editing. This should be a gray bar across the top. 1.
