hello my name is Josiah ray Im going to show you how to format a box around letters in Microsoft Word so here I am in word Im just gonna put in some text real quick so I my spacebar doesnt like me today alright so theres our text and were going to insert a shape and were going to select this square so lets put this little box around our text and our text disappears and thats because Microsoft Word defaults to filling its shapes with a white fill to get rid of this we just come up to the shape fill and say no fill and our words reappear so we can put a cool border around this we can go to shape outline now lets change it to red we can put some dashes on there if we would like and you know increase the waiting a little bit you can also put multiple lines and really kind of get pretty fancy with it but thats basically how to put a box around some text in Microsoft Word I hope youve enjoyed this short video and if you have any other questions please contact me at Josiah at Jerr
