In Word, you can give feedback to fellow authors in two ways: By inserting comments that are tied to a specific place in the document or by directly making tracked changes to the text.
From your app, go to Help Feedback. From your app, go to File Feedback. Click the Help menu and choose Give Feedback. In the dialog box that opens, select the feedback you want to give.
Click Review Compare Combine. A pop-up window lets you choose the Original document and the Revised document. Under Original document, click the down arrow and choose the document you sent for review.
Choose how you view comments In the Comments pane, you can see a single list of all comments in your document, including resolved comments. To switch between the contextual view and the Comments pane, simply click the Comments button in the upper right corner of your Word window.
Add or view comments To view comments in Edit View, click Review Show Comments. To add a new comment, click Review New Comment. If you have the Word desktop application, use the Open in Word command to open the document and turn on track changes.
The Reviewing Pane is a handy tool for making sure that all tracked changes have been removed from your document and wont show up to others who might view your document. The summary section at the top of the Reviewing Pane displays the exact number of visible tracked changes and comments that remain in your document.
Select the text you want to comment on, or click at the end of the text. On the Review tab, click New Comment. Type your comment. Word shows your comment in a balloon in the documents margin.
