How to insert film into Polaroid Go camera 1) Turn on the Polaroid Go camera. 2) Slide the film doors button over, releasing the film door. 3) Match the arrows on the new film cartridge with the arrows inside the cameras film compartment.
The important difference between 600 and i-Type film is the absence of a battery inside the film cartridge. This means that i-Type film will not work with vintage Polaroid cameras.
A: i-Type film contains no battery in the cartridge so it will only work with Polaroid Originals i-Type cameras like the OneStep 2. 600 film cartridges have a battery built in, as the vintage Polaroid 600 cameras did not have a built in battery in the camera.
Dead Battery If the camera does not turn on, the problem may be that the battery is dead and needs to be replaced. The cartridge holding the undeveloped film and power pack are the same unit. After replacing the cartridge, the camera should turn on.
