How do I Auto Trace an image? Its super easy. Simply import and select the sketch or photo you want to image trace and select Auto Trace in the Quick Actions tab. Our software will automatically analyze your input image and decide between Sketch or Picture in the Type picker section of the Inspector.
Along the top of the Image Trace panel are six preset buttons: Auto-Color, High Color, Low Color, Grayscale, Black and White, and Outline. Simply select your image and choose one of the default presets. The preset you choose will preview live on the artboard.
Adjust settings in the Image Trace panel With your drawing selected, open up Image Trace by selecting the icon via the toolbar in your workspace it looks like a circle with three points. If its not there, click Window Image Trace. The presets should be set to Default.
GeoTIFF is a public domain metadata standard which allows georeferencing information to be embedded within a TIFF file. The potential additional information includes map projection, coordinate systems, ellipsoids, datums, and everything else necessary to establish the exact spatial reference for the file.
