in this video we will show you how to link a table of contents to headings in word select the heading on the home tab select from one of the heading styles you can right click and select modify to make any changes to the formatting then go to the table of contents and select the title you can either click the insert tab and click the link button or right click and select hyperlink select the document tab select the heading and click ok once you click the link it will take you to that heading the same was done for the other headings to remove the link click the link button and click remove link or right click and click remove hyperlink you can also create a link for a word in a text by following the same steps if you like this video give it a thumbs up

Final answer: To insert the title document property field on the left, go to the Insert tab, click on Quick Parts, select Field, choose Title and add ,2 after Title to specify the left position. Use the right arrow key to deselect the document property field.

For the Title, Insert Fields Title will insert the title thats entered in File Properties Description Title. For the Author, Insert Fields Author will insert the name you have entered in Tools Options OpenOffice User Data. Use the Tab key to move to the center or right side of the header.
Select Info from the menu on the left. Click on the Properties dropdown and select Advanced Properties. In the Summary tab, you can add metadata such as the documents title, author, keywords, and description. To add tags, click on the Custom tab, and then click the New button to create a new tag.
On a PC, right-click a file, select Properties, and edit the General, Security and Details tabs. To edit the properties of multiple files, hold Ctrl as you click each file, right-click the selection, and click Properties. On a Mac, select a file and go to File Get Info to edit properties.
