Add a text box Place cursor where you want the text box to appear. Go to Insert and in Illustrations select Drawing. Select Text Box and use your cursor to create the text box. Insert text in box and apply any styling needed.
The RichTextBox is similar to the TextBox, but it has additional formatting capabilities. Whereas the TextBox control allows the Font property to be set for the entire control, the RichTextBox allows you to set the Font, as well as other formatting properties, for selections within the text displayed in the control.
On the form template, place the cursor where you want to insert the control. If the Controls task pane is not visible, click More Controls on the Insert menu, or press ALT+I, C. Under Insert controls, click Text Box.
To specify the type of rich text that users can enter, double-click the rich text box that was inserted on the form template, click the Display tab, and then select or clear the check boxes under Available formatting. To add a label to the control, type text above or to the left of the control, followed by a colon (:).
Change a field to rich text Open the table that contains the field in Design View. In the table design grid, click the Long Text field that you want to change to rich text. Under Field Properties, click the General tab. Click the Text Format box and select Rich Text.
Create a Form Place the text cursor where you want to insert the form field. Click the Developer tab on the ribbon. Click the Design Mode button in the controls group. Click a Content Control buttons to insert the selected type of control. When youre done, click the Design Mode button again to exit Design Mode.
Insert a Text box Press and release ALT, N, and then press X. Press the arrow keys to select the Text box that you want, and then press ENTER. Type the text that you want.
Conversely, when the text-box moves, so does the anchor. To prevent this, right-click on the text-box and select Format AutoShape/Picture, go to the Layout tab, click Advanced, and in the Position tab check Lock anchor. Click OK twice to terminate.
