You can add multiple tags to any file or folder. On your Mac, do any of the following: Tag an open file: Hold the pointer to the right of the document title, click the down arrow , click in the Tags field then enter a new tag or choose one from the list.
Windows File Explorer Its the same process for both versions: Right-click on the file you want to tag, and select Properties. Go to the Details tab. Click the Tags option, and enter the tags you want to add, separated by semicolons.
Tagging a file Locate the file. Now that youve created your first tag and made sure it was visible in the Finder sidebar lets tag a file. Adding a tag to a file. Once youve located the file to be tagged, two-finger tap (or right mouse click) the file and, from the popup menu (Figure 3), click Tags.
