Method 1 Open a Word document. Click on the location where you will place the table. Create the outer table. Go to the Insert tab and click Table. When the submenu opens, click and drag the mouse to select the numbers of rows and columns you will need. Create the inner table.

An HTML table is created with an opening tag and a closing tag. Inside these tags, data is organized into rows and columns by using opening and closing table row tags and opening and closing table data tags. Table row tags are used to create a row of data.
The below steps show how to use HTML tables to structure forms. Create an HTML table using the element. Now add the element within this table. Next, we will create form fields. We add the required form fields to the form using the element that is used to add rows to a table.
