Dont include too much information in your email signature Contact information should be included but only one number and one address. Older means of communication, such as fax, can simply be removed - the few people who still use it will, unfortunately, have to call you or head to your website for your fax number.
In the Gmail app, start by selecting settings and then see all settings. Scroll to signature where you can add or customize the format. Insert your image by choosing the image icon in the toolbar. After youve uploaded the photo, resize it by selecting small, medium, or large.
Limit it to 3-4 lines and keep the size to about 300 x 600 pixels. While company logos and images can enhance your signature, make sure they are small and do not overshadow the text. These visual elements should build trust and welcome your recipients without distracting them.
The ideal size for email signatures (both text and image) is no more than 650 pixels wide and between 90 and 150 pixels high. This allows for images (headshot, logo, promotional banner) and contact information to be kept streamlined without dominating the email. We recommend an email signature width of 650 pixels.
Place your cursor over the image and click the arrows in the lower right-hand corner. Click and drag the corner out to increase the size of the image and in to decrease the size.
To insert a picture in the body of your email message, place your cursor in the body of the email message, select the Insert menu, and then choose Pictures from the Illustrations group on the Ribbon. If the picture looks too big (or too small), you can use the sizing handles on the picture to resize the image.
In options click the insert tab and then select Signature. Choose which signature to be resized. Once the image has been inserted into the email, drag the selected picture to the edge to adjust its size. When youre satisfied with the resizing, select all (ctrl + A) and copy (ctrl + C).
To add a digital signature, open your Microsoft Word document and click where youd like to add your signature line. From the Word ribbon, select the Insert tab and then click Signature Line in the Text group. A Signature Setup pop-up box appears. Enter your information in the text fields and click OK.
