Why does that feel OK slow and sounds so bad fast? Oh! Hey guys, in this video Im going to write a brand new melody in the sentence form. After I released the period form video I followed it up with a new melody in the period form, and so now that Ive released the sentence form video Im going to follow that up with this one. Im going to write a brand new melody from scratch, just going from a blank Sibelius sheet to a finished theme. If you havent watched the sentence form video yet, thats where I get into some of the details explaining the different parts of the form and how they work together. Today Im going to be a little more focused on writing but I will explain what Im doing as I go along. The goal for the end of the video is to have an 8 bar theme in sentence form in lead sheet style, so melody with chord symbols. To catch future videos about music theory, composing music, film scoring and all that other related stuff please remember to subscribe.
