Seals were historically used in English law to provide further verification of the identity and assent of the party affixing such seal. A common example is pressing a signet ring bearing the signatorys family crest into hot wax poured on the document.
Use the Signature Line command to insert a signature line with an X by it to show where to sign a document. Click where you want the line. Select Insert Signature Line. Select Microsoft Office Signature Line. In the Signature Setup box, you can type a name in the Suggested signer box. Select OK.
Upload Stamps In eSignature Admin, select Stamps. Select CREATE STAMP. Select browse to open a file chooser or drag an image file to the dialog. Select NEXT when you are ready to upload the image. On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. If you dont see the watermark, click View Print Layout.
Add a Seal to a Document Create a new envelope and add documents to view and sign. To add an electronic seal, click ADD ELECTRONIC SEAL. Select the seal to apply to the documents. If you want to Seal a document then you would need to speak to and get this feature added to your account but that would probably cost you extra. For stamps if you have this on the account you need to enable the feature in Admin Sending Settings and select the Enable Signature Stamp Field.
