hello everyone in this lecture today Iamp;#39;m going to talk to you about how to create this standard curve using observance and concentration and how to determine the concentration of unknown substance from the standard curve in Excel the first step is measuring the concentration of different standard samples okay so when we measure the concentration we measure at least two times and making technical replicates okay so the observance for each sample is measured two times okay so therefore we have absence one and observance two for example for the standard containing 0 microgram per ml concentration the absorbance one is 0.1 and absorbance 2 is 0.009 okay and similarly we will measure a two times constant observance for each of these consonant standards and we will get the different observance values okay absorbance one and absorbance two so after determining the after getting determining the observance value the next step is to calculate the average of these two values okay so then

you may use the lottery method to draw a random sample by using a set of n tickets, with numbers 1 to n if there are n units in the population. After shuffling the tickets thoroughly, the sample of required size, say x, is selected by picking the required x number of tickets.
The formula of random sampling is, if that sample gets selected only once, P = 1 (N-1/N)(N-2/N-1).. (N-n/N-(n-1)). Here P is a probability, n is the sample size, and N represents the population. Now if one cancels 1-(N-n/n), it will provide P = n/N.
To tell Excel that you want to sample data from a data set, first click the Data tabs Data Analysis command button. When Excel displays the Data Analysis dialog box, select Sampling from the list and then click OK. Excel displays the Sampling dialog box. Identify the input range.
There are four key steps in selecting a simple random sample. Step 1: Define the population. What population do you want to research? Step 2: Determine the sample size. Step 3: Randomly select the sample. Step 4: Collect data from your sample.
To create a simple random sample, there are six steps: (a) defining the population; (b) choosing your sample size; (c) listing the population; (d) assigning numbers to the units; (e) finding random numbers; and (f) selecting your sample.
The rand() function is the key tool needed to take a random sample. If you enter the function =rand() in a cell, Excel is equally likely to return any number between 0 and 1. For example, there is a 10% chance you will see a number between 0 and 0.1 and a 20% chance you will see a number between 0.8 and 1.
With a lottery method, each member of the population is assigned a number, after which numbers are selected at random. An example of a simple random sample would be the names of 25 employees being chosen out of a hat from a company of 250 employees.
How do you generate random numbers in Excel? You have two Worksheet functions that may meet your needs: RAND() will generate a random number between 0 and 1. RANDBETWEEN(bottom, top) will return a random whole number between the two numbers you specify. =RANDBETWEEN(3,12)
