I feel like I need to hydrate for this video all right Im gonna be honest with you I think this is one of the harder videos Ive had to make just because I dont really know what to say about the new M2 uh Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pros and thats not a bad thing its actually a good thing we finally have hit a point with the new MacBooks to where um theyre so good that this is now just kind of a performance bump theres really not a whole lot of new features that I can point to and say yes that is definitively better and also Ive only had this machine for 24 hours now and I got it yesterday along with the M2 Pro Mac Mini which by the way wasnt an easy video for me to make either because Im so sick of doing benchmarks and things like that but it was a good way to establish a kind of a baseline of where we were at with that I consider that kind of a new product because there wasnt a pro or Max chip in the first iteration of Apple silicon Mac Minis and so that was a different case bu

The upside-down question mark, or the inverted question mark, is typed with the following keystroke on Mac: Shift+Option+/ types
The Option key, ⌥, is a modifier key present on Apple keyboards. It is located between the Control key and Command key on a typical Mac keyboard.
A circle with a line through it means that the chosen startup disk has a Mac OS that cannot function on your Mac device. This does not mean that Mac has not detected an OS in the systems startup disk. It has but the only problem is that the operating system is unable to boot from the Mac OS build or model.
A folder with a flashing question mark means that your startup disk is no longer available or doesnt contain a working Mac operating system. If the question mark is persistent, and your Mac does not start up normally: Press and hold the power button on your Mac for up to 10 seconds, until your Mac turns off.
The general prohibition sign, also known informally as the no symbol, do not sign, circle-backslash symbol, nay, interdictory circle, prohibited symbol, dont do it symbol, or universal no, is a red circle with a 45-degree diagonal line inside the circle from upper-left to lower-right.
Fixing this problem is very easy. Choose System Preferences from the Apple Menu and select Startup Disk. If your Mac stays on the flashing folder with question mark all the time, it indicates your Mac is in trouble. Click the Repair Disk button to verify and repair any issues.
A prohibitory symbol, which looks like a circle with a line or slash through it, means that your startup disk contains a Mac operating system, but its not a version or build of macOS that your Mac can use.
