hi Ive had lots of comments asking me to do a Mac version of my previous video of how to drag and drop images into a Word document its also nearly four years old now so I thought I did it also doing updated version of it so really Im the aim of this is to allow you to drag and drop an image into a Word document without this happening so what Im going to do is Ive got my Word document up here this is in office 365 but Im going to go and do is go to the insert tab Im going to insert table with two cells Im going to go up to this little icon here which selects the entire table and I dont want to see the borders so Im just going to go up and check no borders which will just give me a dotted line in a Ill tell you about how to get rid of that at the end so what we need to do is we need to make these cells big enough to host each of these four images so what Im going to do is to go up to layout and I have worked out that twelve centimeters in height gives me a nice symmetrical t

Insert a picture in Word, PowerPoint, or Excel Click the location in your document where you want to insert a picture. On the Insert tab, click Pictures. Select the option you want to use for inserting pictures.
Explanation: In your document, select the object with which you want to work, switch to the “Layout” menu, and then click the “Position” button. That button also appears on the “Format” menu of the Ribbon and works the same way.
Pull down Tools to Options. Select the Edit tab and change Insert/paste pictures as: to something else. I like Behind text. You can also adjust how the picture and text interact by right clicking on the picture and pulling down to Format Picture, then selecting the Layout tab and choosing one of the options.
Select the picture or object. Go to Picture Format or Shape Format and select Arrange > Wrap Text. If the window is wide enough, Word displays Wrap Text directly on the Picture Format tab. Choose the wrapping options that you want to apply.

Turn on Overtype mode In the Word Options dialog box, choose Advanced. Under Editing options, do one of the following: To use Insert key to control Overtype mode, select the Use Insert key to control overtype check box. To keep Overtype mode enabled always, select the Use overtype mode check box.
How to Layer Objects in Word Select the object. Click the Format tab. If necessary, expand the Arrange group. Click the Bring Forward or Send Backward list arrow. Select a layering option.
Select the Layout Options icon. Select See more. On the Position tab, in the Options group at the bottom, select the Allow overlap check box. Repeat for each picture for which you want to enable overlapping.
