As far as the title, its ok, but redact all personal or identifying info including the title number, addresses, etc. Someone with a title number can apply for a lost title at the DMV. Ive posted titles on craigslist like this before to show that it wasnt branded nor had a lien.
What does consideration of mean on a bill of sale? The consideration is the value that the buyer transfers to the seller. Simply put, and in most cases, the consideration reflects how much (or the dollar amount) the buyer spent to purchase the item.
When you sell something like that, your bill of sale will include basic information like: Seller name and contact information. Buyer name and contact information. Description of the item(s) youre selling. Price of the item(s) youre selling. Date the sale was made. Space for the buyer and seller to sign.
I am assuming they want to see the title to verify its status, VIN, and mileage. I would not scan it or send a high-res pic just out of fraud concerns. If they really REALLY want to see it, tell them to come out and look at it in person. A real buyer would want to come out and look at the car anyhow.
A bill of sale does not have to be digital to be considered valid. Both handwritten and digital formats are generally acceptable, as long as all necessary information is listed and you have the consent of both parties.
