The musical alphabet is, in ascending order by pitch, A, B, C, D, E, F and G. After G, the cycle repeats going back to A. Each line and space on the staff represents a different pitch. The lower on the staff, the lower the pitch of the note.
The first note on a musical scale is the tonic. Notice that this is also the name of the eighth note, which is the same tone an octave apart. For example, in the C major scale, the tonic is C (C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C), and in the D minor scale, the tonic is D (D-E-F-G-A-Bb (flat)-C-D).
Spaces and Notes on a Staff For example, the note of the first line is E and the second is G, so the space between them must be F. Although its simple to extrapolate which note is which given practice, the notes on the spaces are often much easier to remember, because from bottom to top they spell a word: FACE.
Consequently, the first line of the treble clef represents the note E, the second line is G, the third line is B, the forth line is D and the top (or fifth) line is F. Conversely, the first space if the treble clef is F, the second space is A, the third space is C and the top space is E.
Musical Alphabet. The musical alphabet includes only 7 letters: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. On the staff, each line or space represents a different letter. The treble clef is also known as the G clef because it indicates that the second line from the bottom will be G.
The notes on the lines of treble clef are: E G B D F. You can use the mnemonic Every Good Bird Does Fly, Every Good Boy Does Fine, Eating Green Bananas Disgusts Friends, or get creative and come up with your own! The trick is to find a mnemonic memorable enough that you never forget the treble clef note names.
First Note means the promissory note signed by the Borrower together with the Loan Agreement and given to the holder of the First Note to evidence the Borrowers promise to repay, with interest, loan advances made by the holder of the First Note and secured by the First Security Instrument.
