This measurement may not be accurate for margins setting. Open the PDF document using the docHub Reader software. Click the Tools tab on the toolbar and select Measure. In the secondary toolbar, click Measuring Tool. Use the Distance Tool to measure the margins of the page.
To alter the margins there seem to be two favoured methods: 1. File: Print: docHub PDF: specify a larger page size, then use Edit: Crop to reduce the page size again, with appropriate margins, doing odd and even pages separately.
Printing PDFs with normal margins Open the PDF in Acrobat and choose print. In the print dialog box, preview the print settings under Page Size Handling. By default, most printers will adjust the page size to fit. At this setting, extra white space is added to the files pre-set margins.
The document content is automatically scaled by MS Word between the two standards and the scaled content (proportionally in both dimensions) can result in margins changing. The scaling can be changed through Word options.
Steps to Add Markups to PDF Files Click the Active Markup tool in the Comment ribbon to find Text Markup Tool. If you want to cross out text, select it and click on the Cross Out command from the drop-down list. When you need to add text, place the cursor in the relevant spot and start typing.
In the Page Tab you will find the option for Margin. This option opens a dropdown providing common margin sizes. You can select one of these to update the margin. You can also create custom margins for your pages.
Move to Print tab and uncheck Allow A4/Letter paper resizing. In Word 2010, go to File and click Options. Move to Advanced and find Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11 paper sizes under the Print section. Uncheck and see if it works.
To avoid common formatting issues, such as cut-off text or shifted margins, you can make adjustments in both the Page Layout tab or the Page Setup menu option. Once youre happy with the formatting, go to File, then select Save As and choose the PDF option.
