hello guys in this video i am going to show you how to prepare a list of abbreviation or list of acronyms in microsoft world 2010 2013 2016 and onward how this would be done let me show you on screen let me open a microsoft word document and we have to prepare a list of acronym first we need to select the word whose economy is to be inserted in the list let me select this starch polyvinyl alcohol like this and i would go to mark entry over here i can cut the last part in bracket ctrl x and i would insert it over here ctrl v without disturbing anything else over here i would click mark and i would close it now over here you can see that this looks jumbled up because microsoft word itself has insulted paragraph markers over here if you come to home and click over paragraph markers you would see that it looks okay similarly you can select the rest of acronyms for example i want to select this nn methylene base acrylamide and again i would go to insert home

Initials are the capital letters that begin each word of a name. For example, if your full name is Michael Dennis Stocks, your initials are M.D.S.
Change your user name and initials Click File Options. In the Options dialog box, change your user name and initials in the Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office section.
A persons initials are a kind of abbreviation, and these are usually followed by full stops: John D. Rockefeller, C. Aubrey Smith, O. J. Simpson. Increasingly, however, there is a tendency to write such initials without full stops: John D Rockefeller, C Aubrey Smith, O J Simpson.
If a person uses initials for only part of their name, use periods (J. R. R. Tolkien). If a person uses two or more initials to abbreviate their entire name, do not use periods. (FDR, MLK). Latin abbreviations like etc., e.g., c., and i.e. always use periods.

Here are some general guidelines for writing initials: Order:For personal names, the order is usually first name, middle name (if applicable), and last name. For example, if a persons name is John Andrew Smith, the initials would be JAS. Spacing:When writing initials, there is typically no space between them.
When creating reference initials, proper capitalization can help a recipient recognize who the typist is and who the writer is. It may also help your letter appear more professional. The writers initials, if youre using them, appear in capital (upper case) letters and the typists in lowercase.
The initial is usually affixed/made at the bottom of the page, in the lower right-hand corner.
